material used throughout the world for centuries, has been used by Aston Martin for floor tiles, wall tiles, furniture, signage and reception desks. It is generally cream ivory in colour with some horizontal graining. In its natural form Travertine
has many natural flaws, which would usually restrict the use of such a beautiful material but this is where Aston Martin’s material differs: as the slabs are filled and reinforced under vacuum (Taltos’ patented process) as well as cut in ultralight (7 mm – ¼”) or conventional (20 mm – ¾”) thickness; each batch is carefully selected,
commencing with the blocks at the quarry, by sequentially numbering all the slabs up to the cut to size elements to ensure the degree of matching and consistency required.
